8th Grade Intersession - What To Bring

THE RGNS DRESS CODE FOR CASUAL DRESS WILL BE FOLLOWED.  SCHOOL DRESS IS NOT REQUIRED THIS WEEK.  IN EVERYTHING YOU CHOOSE TO PACK, CONSIDER THAT THE WEATHER COULD BE ANY COMBINATION FROM MILDLY TO VERY COLD, RAINY, WINDY, SUNNY, OR HOT.

 

  • Sleeping Bag
  • Pillow (no white pillowcase)
  • COAT
  • Jacket
  • 1 – 2 bath towels and washcloths
  • 4 – 5 pair of jeans or long pants
  • 5 shirts (this could include T-shirts, sweatshirts, sweaters, and long sleeved cotton shirts)  It will definitely be cold at night.
  • 5 pair of underwear/undergarments
  • Pajamas or sleepwear (bathrobe optional)
  • 2 pair of comfortable tennis or walking shoes
  • 4 – 5 pairs of socks
  • Toothbrush/toothpaste
  • Deodorant
  • Bath Soap/ shampoo
  • Comb/brush
  • Umbrella; raincoat
  • Small flashlight/book light
  • Journal/pen

OPTIONAL

·         Camera

·         Videos – G, PG, PG-13 only- Please have your nname on movies

·         Batteries

 

Please remember there is a limited amount of space—one suitcase per person.  You may bring a backpack on the bus

 

Every person will be expected to bathe daily with soap.  Each person will be expected to wear clean clothes and use deodorant every day.  We will be living close together—be thoughtful of each other.

 

Students may bring spending money; there will be times when they want to purchase snacks or souvenirs.  We will not be responsible for any money that is lost or stolen.  IPODS, and other hand-held electronic games are ok to use on the bus or in the cabin room.  They are not to be taken anywhere else.  We will not be responsible for any devices that are lost or stolen.
