What To Bring

7th Grade Intersession

 

Casual wear can be worn all week.  Check the handbook for guidelines if you have any questions. IN EVERYTHING YOU CHOOSE TO PACK, CONSIDER THAT THE WEATHER COULD BE ANY COMBINATION FROM MILDLY TO VERY COLD, RAINY, WINDY, SUNNY, OR HOT.


_____          1 RGNS school polo shirt (for theater show)

_____          1 pair of khaki pants or capris (for girls)

_____            2-3 pairs of jeans or long pants

_____            2-3 pairs of shorts (no cut-off/short shorts)

_____            5 shirts (you will want to include shirts, sweatshirts/sweaters,

                        and/or long-sleeved cotton shirts) it could be cold at night.

_____            4 pairs of underwear

_____            Pajamas or sleepwear

_____            2 pairs of comfortable tennis or walking shoes

_____            5 pairs of socks

_____            Jacket

_____            Bike helmet if you have one

_____          Sleeping bag or sheets and blankets

_____          Pillow

_____            Comb/brush

_____            Toothpaste/toothbrush

_____            Deodorant

_____            Bath soap/shampoo

_____            2 towels/washcloths

_____            Water bottle

OPTIONAL:

±     Bathing suit/ Beach shoes

±     Backpack with plastic bag inside to transport bathing suit and other wet clothes

±     Camera

±     Shower shoes

±     Sunscreen

±     Raincoat or sturdy poncho

±     Hat and/or sunglasses

±     Extra batteries

±     Mosquito repellent

±      DVDs – G, PG, PG-13 only (bring these on the bus; make sure your name is on them.)


Please remember there is only a limited amount of space--one suitcase per person.  You may bring a backpack on the bus.

Every person will be expected to bathe daily with soap.  Each person will be expected to wear clean clothes and use deodorant every day.  We will be living close together--be thoughtful of each other.

Food and drinks are permitted on the bus until the students misuse that privilege.

Please label all items with student’s name.

Students may bring spending money; there will be times when they will want to purchase snacks or souvenirs.  WE WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY MONEY LOST OR STOLEN.

MP3 or CD Players WITH HEADPHONES are okay to use on the bus or in the cabin room.  They are not to be taken anywhere else.

No portable DVD players please.

Try to work out a system where 3-4 people share a hair dryer and other electrical beauty paraphernalia.
