Registration and Orientation 2006-2007

 

 

6th Grade

Registration – Please come to registration at the times suggested in order to facilitate your process.  Please write names in all books and clothes.  We would like all students to bring their books/notebooks to school on registration day and put them in their lockers up at the Middle School.  You will also meet your child’s advisor at the Middle School.

 

Orientation - Students will NOT be participating in the weekend orientation and overnight trip.  6th grade will participate in activities during the school day throughout the week.

 

7th Grade

Registration - Please come to registration at the times suggested in order to facilitate your process.  Please write names in all books and clothes.  We would like all students to bring their books/notebooks to school on registration day and put them in their lockers up at the Middle School.  You will also meet your child’s advisor at the Middle School.

 

Orientation – Students participate in a one night campout at our school’s Indian Lake.  This overnight trip is our opportunity for the boarding and day students from their 7th grade class to get acquainted.  Friday night after registration, the 7th graders will meet in the dining hall parking lot at 6:30 pm to load their gear and proceed to the lake.  We will return to campus the next morning and participate in Saturday’s planned activities.  Students should be picked up at 6:30 pm on Saturday.

* Please note that if you choose to pick up your child in the morning to attend your own church, he or she must return by 1:00 pm for the required orientation activities.

 


 

Supply List for

7th & 8th Grade

CAMP OUT

 

 

Ø      Adult chaperones will be equipped with cell phones for emergency use.  The emergency contact phone # is 706-982-2343.

Ø      During the overnight camp out, students will not be allowed to have or use their cell phones.  Students’ cell phones will be collected for safekeeping from students who bring their cell phones for use after the camp out. 

Ø      Water is provided but students will need their own water bottle labeled with their name. Very Important!
