You are cordially invited to this year’s Parents’ Weekend on October 5th & 6th. It is two days packed with many activities, and we ask that you carefully review the enclosed schedule. As detailed on the enclosed schedule, the Parent Conferences are scheduled differently for Upper and Middle School.
As in the past, each Middle School parent(s) will meet with their child’s teachers and advisor collectively (students do not attend these conferences). You can gain a true sense of what and how your child is doing by meeting with all of his/her teachers in one meeting. The appointments are arranged on specific days for each grade level and will be held in the MS Annex conference room. The appointments are scheduled as follows:

Day students - Appointments for MS day
students are
scheduled throughout the week of Monday, October 1 – Thursday, October
4. Conference days will
be designated by grade level.

Boarding students – Appointments for MS
boarding students are scheduled for Friday,
October 5, and Saturday, October 6.

Other special opportunities on Friday for parents include:
· A full slate of varsity athletic events vs. Highlands, Rabun County and Trimont Christian schools in cross-country, soccer, softball, and volleyball beginning at 4:30 pm.

A dessert social (for parents,
faculty and staff) at 6:30 pm in the lobby of the
· Our Director of Community Life and our Fine Arts Department chair are planning a program of parent information interspersed with music, dance, and drama performances at 7:30 pm in the Rearden Theater.
